About the project

Vernons has been an established, trusted name in sports betting for almost a century, as the brand evolved with more vertical products, we decided to separate the Bingo product from the Sport vertical and give it it’s own voice, creating a brand new guidelines and style book 

The Opportunity

How can we create a comprehensive platform that integrates a maximum number of features and can be accessed on all kinds of devices?

The Challenge

Avoid content overload by using as many simple icons as possible, and opt for lightly-colored backgrounds to contrast with the primary colors of the application creating a professional, easy-to-use product that is both customizable and fun.


Research

Simple and easy-to-understand features, this was the result of our research, is all about making the product more accessible for users. Considering that the majority of our customers were women over 40 we needed to provide solutions with easy user flows. The previous digital platform was full of complex information and conflicting functions which needed to be simplified and organized.

Graphic Package

For the launch we needed to develop brand new guidelines and a design system in order to maintain a cohesive look and feel across all products and marketing communications.


The Interface

The Goal was to design a clean and simple interface that intuitively integrated Vernons Bingo extensive room offerings. Our project scope covered the entire product, spanning from web design, to both front-end and back-end development.

The new brand expression

Here is where Stan the Pug came into play, we wanted to create an identity that will differentiate us from our competitors, we wanted the brand to be fun, homie and very expressive and who else better than this lovely dog? He was lucky enough to be dressed up for every Christmas as Santa Claus, monster for Halloween, St. Patricks Day you name it! He was there always giving his best.

The Result

The site has improved significantly throughout the process. We have succeeded in creating a brand with a strong online presence, one that is wonderfully contrasting and uncluttered. As a result, navigation has become easier and more enjoyable for the user and the time spent on the product increased significantly since day one of launch.

Also the launch of the rebrand with Stan the Pug was a big achievement the new ambassador was welcomed by our players that immediately adopted the new dog, sharing in social media and interacting with every post.
